SBSS Cross Country

Following our well supported selection trials a strong team has been assembled for the Noosa District Cross Country on May 9.

Our year level Cross Country which was postponed from last term will now take place on Wednesday 7 May. The cross country schedule is now available on our website.

Girls Rugby League

Please email Mr. Porter prior to Tuesday 6 May if interested in girls schools representative rugby league trials. Players born 2013 and 2014 are eligible.

Track and Field – Championship field events 2025

Championship field event finals for 10-12 years age groups are held throughout Term 2. A timetable of events is available in classrooms.

Students will qualify for finals via performances at lunchtime practice sessions. The first two placegetters in finals are invited to District Athletics Carnival.

Lunchtime Rugby League program - Years 3 & 4

Following the success of last term’s Year 5 and 6 Rugby League program – we are hoping to get a Years 3 and 4 program happening this term. Please register an expression of interest to enable communication around the program.

Basketball

Friday afternoon Basketball Clinic at our school courts commencing on Friday 9 May. Check out the community events section of this newsletter for info.
