Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this letter finds you well. It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I introduce myself, Steve Taylor as the Acting Principal of Sunshine Beach State School for Term 2.

I have been the Deputy Principal at Mooloolaba State School for several years, which has included many times as the Acting Principal. I look forward to value adding to the fantastic work that is occurring here at Sunshine Beach State School. I am the proud father of three girls 2 of whom attend my previous school and my eldest who is in high school, so it will be a lot quieter in my office and the car rides this term without them.

As I step into this role, I am really looking forward to becoming a part of this vibrant school community and to work collaboratively with you to ensure a nurturing and enriching educational experience for all our students.

I am deeply committed to fostering a positive school environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential.

In the coming weeks and months, I will have the pleasure of getting to know your children, our staff and all of you. I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition and to building upon the strong foundation that exists at Sunshine Beach State School.
