Maths came to life in 1KS as learners worked on their addition and subtraction skills in a fun and hands-on way. One partner rolled the dice, the other wrote the equation and together they worked out the answer—using beads for support if needed.

This interactive approach helped students build confidence with numbers while also practising teamwork and problem-solving.

We’ve received a tray of seedlings for our school permaculture garden, thanks to Keith, the regional representative from Pick of the Crop.

This healthy eating initiative, developed by Health & Wellbeing Queensland, encourages primary school students to eat more vegetables and fruit. The vegetables will be used by our tuckshop for student orders.
