Representative School Sport Program Term 1 2025
Thanks to the large number of learners who have registered for representative school sport this term following distribution of info in Term 4.
Trials are for experienced, talented players who are capable of playing at representative level. As numbers are limited, we will likely organise a school trial to determine participants.
Players born in 2013, 2014 and 2015 are eligible however the team selected is an Under 12 team. Rugby League and Girls Netball also have an Under 11 division.Registrations close tomorrow- Friday 7 February 2025. Netball, volleyball and AFL nominations have now closed.

2025 SEQ Soccer carnivals
Please note we will use the registrations from the process above to select SBSS year 5 and year 6 teams (both boys and girls) for the school’s soccer carnivals. Students who are keen to trial for Year 5 and Year 6 soccer teams for SEQ carnival will need to register as above.
Year 5/6 Rugby League program
We are excited to be offering a Free Rugby League program for boys and girls in Year 5 and 6 this term. The program is made possible with the support of Redcliffe Dolphins and Noosa Pirates development officer, Beau Condon and SBSS’s Will Carette.

After School Tennis Coaching
Noosa Tennis Club is once again presenting tennis coaching sessions at SBSS this term. Check flyer below for details:
SBSS Cross Country
- 10-12 years representative cross country selection trial – Tuesday 25 March
- SBSS P-2 Cross Country – Wednesday 2 April
- SBSS 3-6 Cross Country – Thursday 3 April
- Noosa District Cross Country – Friday 2 May
Beginner learn to surf
A Wednesday morning learn to surf program is being offered this term.
Provider is Surfdancer Surf School with accredited surf coaches. It is suited to beginner surfers, either first timers or those who have surfed a little and would like to improve skills and confidence.
- When: Wednesday mornings (commence 19 February 4 week program). Meet at 6.15am)
- Where: Meet at Access 12 car park Noosa West beach
- Who: Years 2-6 beginner surfers. Numbers will be limited so will be on a first in basis. If registrations are full please advise Tamara Brazier to put your name on the wait list.
- Transport: Parental arrangements
- Prerequisites: Strong swimmer (swim 50m continuously)
- Cost: Using own soft board $30 per session (total $120) (preference 7 foot); using surf school boards $40 per session (total $160)
Payment for all four sessions is due in advance, either via bank transfer or cash at the first session - place in envelope with child's name on front.
